Also, in vs 14 we see that Jesus was glad that this had happened to Lazarus because He was going to get the glory for resurrecting him. Lacy leads the worship team at PSM. She loves to sing, loves everything about the kingdom of God, and will talk tirelessly about it as long as someone wants to listen. Lacy studied theology and church music ministry at International Bible College in San Antonio Texas. She then joined the college faulty and taught music and theology classes for 6 years before going into music ministry full-time. She has traveled with music ministry teams and led worship for the past 13 years in Texas, Missouri, and Canada. She is a published songwriter, piano teacher, and vocal coach. James loves working with students of all ages, from 6th Grade through college. He and his wife have a passion to see this generation pursuing a deeper, closer relationship with Jesus Christ, so they have given themselves to loving students no matter where they are in their walk with God. “We are here to help however we can, if you ever need us do not hesitate to let us know. Harry is in charge of communications - website, marketing, graphic design, etc. He also oversees ourspecial outreach ministries, midweek teaching series and the weekend worship experience. He graduated from Ohio Christian University in in 2004 with a B.A. in Christian Ministry and has been involved in ministry for 18 years (he started young). Some of his heroes are: Leonard Ravenhill, A.W. Tozer, James Wright Jr., the Wesley brothers, Evan Roberts, his parents and his wife. Robin grew up in Buda, TX (very small town), however was a member of PromiseLand Church in Austin (quite a bit larger than Buda) throughout his childhood. He graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX in 1998 with a BBA in Marketing. Robin married Erica Crocker on Jan 9, 1999. Shortly after marriage, they moved to Taos, NM and lived there for a couple years. They returned to Austin in 2001 where he worked at his home church as Children’s Pastor. Robin and Erica have 3 kids: Kennady, Jude, and Avery. Their daughter, Kennady, was born with severe special needs. You can check out her story here.In 2003, with the assistance of Kenneth Phillips, Robin and 30 others started PromiseLand San Marcos church. Today, it has grown into a thriving community of over a 1000 believers.Robin is passionate about bridging the gap between people and Jesus. That shows up all over the scale from people who have never heard about Jesus to people that have been to church all their lives. He is also passionate about helping other pastors. Welcome to the PromiseLand. This week is a great time to visit us at 8:30am, 10am, or 11:30am! At PromiseLand, we place a priority on authentic praise and worship music, inspiring messages from the Bible and building relationships. We are a Spirit-filled group of believers who long to be closer to God and each other.PromiseLand San Marcos was started (2003) from PromiseLand in Austin, TX. Starting with 30 original members, we met on TX State campus for 2 years. We purchased our property in 2005 and now have grown to over 1000 members. There are currently 4 other PromiseLand Churches: PromiseLand Central(Austin), PromiseLand West, PromiseLand Georgetown and PromiseLand Kentucky. VISION Mission Statement - Spread the Gospel to people in the San Marcos area, and bring each of them into an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. How do we fulfill our Mission?1. We Worship God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. 2. Our services are filled with dynamic teaching and exhortation.3. We provide a community or fellowship for all believers of Jesus Christ. This is a place were we grow from each others lessons. 4. We Reach families with dynamic kids and teens programs. a. We have a caring and loving nursery/preschool department. Responsibly nurturing kids is our specialty. b. Children’s Church on Sundays educates, inspires, and nurtures elementary kids to love Jesus. c. Teenage programs provide quality social activities as well as Spiritual guidance.5. We reach the TX State campus with the Love of Jesus. 6. We support missions all over the world through projects and donations. 7. We provide fellowship and training meetings for men’s and women’s groups. 8. We support our members that are in need of prayer, clothing, finances, moral support, and other needs.

KID'S MINISTRY 6months - 12yrsOne of our highest priorities at PromiseLand is our children. Every service has special activities for the kids. We offer great teachers, good curriculum, fun activities/crafts, and other kids to play with. We now have classes for kids 6 months to 12 years of age! Our church will always take care of kids with dignity and respect. We realize God"s property and future is in our hands. GODHEAD: We believe in one God who is eternal in His existence, Triune in His manifestation, being both Father, Son and Holy Ghost AND that He is Sovereign and Absolute in His authority. THREE DIMENSIONS OF ONE GOD (1 John 5:7; Matthew 28:19; 1 Tim 3:16). There is one name under heaven given unto men by where we must be saved, the Name of The Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in the Father who is God Himself, Creator of the universe. (Gen 1:1; John 1:1)We believe that Jesus is the Son of God. (Col 2:9) He suffered, died, was buried, and rose from the dead for our total salvation (Luke 3:21-22; Philippians 2:5-11). Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Him (John 3:36; John 3:31-32; John 14:6).We believe in the Holy Spirit who is God indwelling, empowering and regenerating the believer. This Holy Spirit is called the Comforter. The Spirit of Truth (John 14:17, 14:26) We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the sign of speaking in other tongues. We believe that Christians should be filled daily by using our prayer language, but the evidence of the Holy Spirit's indwelling presence is a changed life (Acts 2:4; Ephesians 5:18-21).BAPTISM: We believe that believers should be water baptized in the name of Jesus Christ by immersion for the circumcision of our hearts. It is through baptism that we publicly identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:11-14; Acts 2:38). WE BELIEVE that the blood of Jesus Christ atones for our sins and iniquity. It is through His shed blood that we are saved, healed and set free from bondage and the forces of darkness (Romans 5:9-11; Ephesians 1:7; Revelation 12:11). WE BELIEVE that every believer must have a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, for apart from Him we can do nothing. Each person has a ministry from God that no one else can fill. We are to instruct, teach, exhort, and admonish believers in the ways of God (John 15:1-5; Hebrews 13:5-6). WE BELIEVE that the Bible is the true infallible Word of God, which cleanses our souls. It holds the words of eternal life and the keys of the Kingdom of God. The Bible shows us God"s principles and standards for living; and it is the food that sustains us in all circumstances (John 1:14; 2 Timothy 3: 16-17; 1 John 2:5-6). We believe that we are to wash and renew our minds daily by the Word of God. WE BELIEVE in justification by faith. We believe that salvation is free and apart from any work of man is a result of the sovereign grace of God. (Eph 2:8-9, Gal 5:5, Rom 5:1)We must learn His ways and exchange our way of thinking for His. We are to be conformed to the Kingdom of God by the molding and shaping of His Hands (Romans 12:1-2; Ephesians 4:23-29; Philippians 4:8). We believe that in Godly living and the pursuit of a holy life should be the goal of every believer. (Heb 12:14, Phil 3:14) WE BELIEVE in worshipping the Lord in spirit, song, dance and with the raising of our hands. We believe that we are to praise and worship Him with our whole being (Psalms 150:1-6; John 4:24). We believe that all Christians need to partake of the communion elements which represent the Lord Jesus" body and blood. It is by participating in the Lord"s Supper that we proclaim His death until His return (John 6:53-58; 1 Corinthians 11:23-30). WE BELIEVE in the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He ministers to His people through tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy; words of knowledge and wisdom, discerning of spirits, faith, working of miracles, and healing (Mark 16:15-18; Acts 5:16; 2 Corinthians 12:1-11). WE BELIEVE that it is God"s will to heal and deliver His people today as He did in the days of the first Apostles. It is by the stripes of Jesus that we are healed, delivered and made whole. We have authority over sickness, disease, demons, curses, and every circumstance in life (Luke 10:19; 2 Corinthians 10:4-5; 1 Peter 2:24). "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature... And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." (Mark 16:15-18)

MISSIONSWe support Missionaries throughout the world. When you financially contribute to missions, 100% of the proceeds go to these people. CENTRAL AMERICA:Baudelio and Eva Bernal (AAMAC) - Monterrey, Mexico - This ministry outreach feeds colonias all over Monterrey. Every week day they go to grocery stores and get donated food. They travel throughout the poverty stricken areas to provide free provisions. A letter from Eva Bernal:It has been to two years that the state of Tabasco was flooded by hurricanes. At that time the whole wa voluntering at a local tv station.Personally I desired to go to TAbasco and help with the pantry, I saw on TV that they were bringing bags of food containing with only 4 food items per bag while in the meantime in Monterrey there were delivering trailers full of food. Now, i have the oppurtinuity to directly participate in communities that were effected by the hurricane, On thursday-Friday night, we took 2.5 tons of papaya and mango. We accompany you to the local tv station with my truck taking approx a ton of food and a ton of water. To my surprise TV chose the place to televised the food delivery at the same place i was visiting. A miracle occurred because through God all the people that were present were able to recieve lunch, pantry food, water, dinner that was prepared and ready to take home. There were 400 people present.
