Outreach

Outreach is effective at PromiseLand. We have several ways of doing it. We emphasize "personal evangelism". That is your witness at work, home, and elsewhere. What are you doing to spread the Gospel (Good News) by your actions? Please contact the church office for more details at 392-HELP.

Habitat for Humanity International is a Christian organization and welcomes volunteers from all faiths who are committed to Habitat's goal of eliminating poverty Housing. Homes are sold with no profit made. Homeowners contribute "Sweat Equity" and house payments are recycled to build additional homes.

PromiseLand San Marcos has joined with Habitat for Humanity to build homes in San Marcos. We finished building Pam Brown's house on Jackman St. Click this link for updates and how you can get involved.

Angel Tree Program
Delivering gifts of love and a message of hope to children of prisoners.

Welcome to another year of Angel Tree Christmas! If you're a first-time volunteer, you'll soon understand our excitement and enthusiasm as we reach out to families of prisoners. There is so much joy that comes with sharing Christ's love with kids who have a mom or dad in prison.

Angel Tree Christmas gives you an opportunity to share Christ's love by helping to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the families of prisoners. Participating in Angel Tree is a powerful way for you to lovingly answer the biblical call to minister to the least of these. Many churches make an annual commitment to this highly rewarding program, and recognize it as a way to care for some of the most overlooked members of our culture.

Angel Tree Christmas works by connecting parents in prison with their children through the delivery of Christmas gifts. Volunteers purchase and deliver gifts and the gospel to children in the name of their prisoner-parent. This year we will have a big party where all the gifts will be given at one time.
